The Apple Valley boys basketball team beat a higher seeded team for the second straight game, defeating Maple Grove 73-63 in the state tournament Class AAAA semifinals. The Eagles, seeded seventh, downed the third-seeded Crimson two days after knocking off second-seeded Wayzata.
