Local Runners Shine at Section 5AAA Cross Country:

Although no local teams from the CCX viewing area qualified for the state meet at the Section 5AAA cross country meet, a number of individuals placed well to advance to state. April Watson of Maple Grove placed second behind Mounds View’s Linnea Ousdigian to qualify for state, along with her teammates Dakota Laux (4th) and Ella McLuen (12th).
